Mitsuboshi High Performance Tubes
Highly chemical and temperature resistant elastomer tubes
Hubtron is the tradename of the elastomer tube range from Mitsuboshi.
Hubtron tubes are elastomer tubes with unique properties like for example ;
- elasticity
- flexibility
- kink behavior (kink means the shutting of the flow through the tube by bending it so sharp that the inner walls of the tubes touch and block the flow)
- temperature resistance
- excellent chemical resistance
Hubtron tubes are available in transparant (translucent) or black.
Black tubes are used in for example UV monomer containing liquids like inks.
Due to their properties, Hubtron tubes are used in :
- peristaltic pumps
- feeding tubes for ink jet heads (who are moving fast and frequent)
Hubtron tubes are an interesting alternative to the popular PFA tubes, who are too rigid and wear very fast under influence of mechanical movement.
